Marketing your Zumba® class doesn’t have to be expensive. The best resources we’ve used to promote our SABA class didn’t cost us a dime.
Everyone’s into social media these days. I’m a Facebook gal myself (sorry, Myspace, you got too bogged down). You also have Twitter, LinkedIn, Foursquare, and whole host of other lesser known platforms.
Take advantage of the free digital real estate and get yourself a place to promote your class. We have a Facebook fan page that allows us to post class times and cancellations, Zumba® merchandise updates, photos, videos of interest, breaking news, and more.
Likewise, a website is an easy way to have a presence 24/7. You can post your class schedule, photos of class, your personal biography/experience, upcoming events – sky’s the limit.
Sites such as WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr, Webs, and Weebly let you set up an account for free. We currently use WordPress. After receiving substantial web traffic, we opted to purchase a domain name (an upgrade), but you can decide if you want to invest the money further down the road.
If you put up a website, please make sure it follows all the rules set forth by Zumba Fitness, LLC. They create the rules to keep the Zumba® brand professional and consistent. If you violate them, they will find you! Their legal department emailed us when they found we had (unintentionally) broken a few rules. All fixed now! :)

And I selected these 10 tips very carefully, to make it as fool-proof for you as possible. Because let’s face it, there are some real dorks out there that love to play the weight-loss yo-yo. I bet if that was a product, it’d sell like hot cakes! But the point is, losing “weight” isn’t that hard – in fact, it’s VERY easy. Easier than you think. What’s hard is keeping your body at the weight you want for the long run. That’s way more challenging. But, luckily for you, I’ve made the process as painless as possible.
The key to all this weight loss comes from boosting our metabolism. This key aspect is why some people can “naturally” stay skinny, and we are about to mimic this process. So, let’s begin…
