Fellow Zumbawear lovers, it looks like Zumba Fitness is SUPPOSED to be having a Black Friday sale in addition to the release of the next NEW collection. But alas, as I was perusing and “Adding To Cart”, I got booted out of the system. A lot of people had the same thing happen to them – one moment, a full cart, and then WHAM! gone. The website is down for maintenance at the moment, so you’ll have to roam the internet for a bit and check back regularly. :)

...and finally, Week 4 of our November Food Drive. Our SABA Zumba® class collected 215 pounds of food for the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank!

Class at SABA is on at the usual time. Kasey won’t be teaching this week due to an unforeseen family event, so I’ll be working solo. I’ll do my best to teach Kasey’s routines…don’t hold it against me if I miss a step or two! ;)
We’ll start accepting canned food donations tomorrow. For every two cans you bring, you’ll get one entry into a drawing to win a Zumba® gift basket! We’ll stop taking donations on Wednesday, November 23. All food donations will go to the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Special vendors will be selling items at that time. The two-hour Zumba® event runs from 10 a.m. to noon. $10 per person. Wear your brightest RED outfit and support the fight against heart disease!
Throw on a costume and have a “thriller” of a good time! 5–7 p.m. at Angelo Skate and Fun Center (across from Rosa’s Cafe). Tickets are $5 in advance, $10 at the door–see Mary, Eric, or Blanca. Proceeds from this party will help fund a BIG surprise Zumba® event planned for March 2012!
As we head into the holiday season, Kasey & I thought a canned food drive would be great way to give back to the community. Starting Tuesday, November 1, every two cans of food you bring to the SABA Zumba® class will equal one entry to win a Zumba® goodie basket!
We will stop taking canned food donations on Wednesday, November 23 – the day before Thanksgiving. You have 8 chances during the month of November to bring cans (Nov. 1 & 2, 8 & 9, 15 & 16, 22 & 23), so start digging through your kitchen cupboards! All food donations will go to the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank.
