This event ties together two diseases that affect women, and chances are you know a woman with breast cancer…or a friend with an abuser in the family. We are asking for participants to bring a small item or two – shampoo, sanitary napkins, toothpaste, or a new/slightly used bra.

“Why a used bra?” you may ask. When a woman escapes from a domestic violence situation, she is trying to get to safety as quickly as possible. Whatever she has on is all she has, and sometimes that might not include a bra.

Be a part of something very special. Be a part of the cure. Every journey starts with one step. By working together, we can stamp out breast cancer and domestic violence.
