Top Picks

The party kicked off right at the beginning of ZIN 32 with Shake It Up, another hot hit by artist Mara. I loved the choreography in its entirety, which featured Beto upfront and center as well as the ever-popular Gina Grant. Score: ♥♥♥♥♥

Traigo Fuego: The ZES team from Mexico gets your heart rate up with the fast-paced merengue. It’s always nice to see new variations on the basic merengue step. Score: ♥♥♥♥

Las Juanas: Those who know me will tell you – I never turn down a good salsa number. I loved how the moves transitioned seamlessly. ♥♥♥♥

Rumba: A punchy salsa/reggaeton number featuring Beto and other men of Zumba. It’s about time they called the guys on stage – work those hips! ♥♥♥♥♥

Other tracks

Rosa: Another track featuring the men of Zumba – this time in a sensual & mysterious cumbia. Bits of organ, accordian, and electric guitar create a 70′s feel; overall, a nice atmosphere. ♥♥♥1/2

Para No Verte MasNot my cup of tea. The country/pop sound is very bright, the choreography cute – but not my style. This would be a nice song to put right after a high-intensity one to bring the heart rate down. ♥♥

La Perla: This catchy, big-band swing song gets you from the start with bold trumpeting and primal drumming…how can you NOT move?! The choreo was more technically tricky in its footwork combos. It might take your students a little longer to catch on, but it’s worth it – a visual treat. ♥♥♥

Uno Sabe Bien: This song sounds like mix of Ricky Martin and the surfer sounds of the 60′s. The choreo’s easy to follow and has some good core work with a nice little samba break. The only part I would change would be the very middle – it starts looking awkward doing hip thrusts while in a lunge position. ♥♥♥1/2

Zumba Samba: Bring on the techno-European dance beats! This is sure to be a crowd-pleasing tune…it brings some sass, some energy, and a club-like sound. ♥♥♥1/2

      • Yeah, kinda knew that… I was just wondering because you guys got a link on many other songs :P. I would like to hear it since you rated it with 5 stars :P. Well, I guess it’s just bad luck, doesn’t matter :P.

      • Whoops, misinformed the first time around. It is a cover, and I did post links to all the songs I could find that Zumba covered. Unfortunately, “Rumba” is the only song I couldn’t find. Sorry Kendra! :(

  1. Where can I download the song “Uno Sabe Bien”? I loved this song in Zumba but can’t find it anywhere.

    • Hi Adrienne, “Uno Sabe Bien” is a Zumba original song and is currently only available to ZIN members. There may be a chance in the future that it can be bought on iTunes or Amazon, but I’m not completely sure.
